12/1976: "Lindgren", for an instrument and audio tape.

Lindgren (1976),  an  two part invention for instrument and tape.

The term "voice" is understood here in the sense of a 'polyphonic part' in a polyphonic context. But also as the "inner voice" of a human being.

The composition is a melodrama in which the two voices come in conflict  with each other. The voice of the yesterday (tape) and the voice of today (instrument) fight to control the soul of a person. The name of this person is Lindngren, but it could also be Krapp (from Beckett's Krapp's last tape).

There are 3 versions of this composition:

. for cello and tape

. for saxophone (baritone) and tape

. for trombone and  tape
